Afinitas Integrates Equipment and Forming Divisions, Announces Leadership Changes
New structure simplifies customer experience and strengthens innovation
ST. LOUIS – October 31, 2025
Afinitas, a leading global infrastructure equipment and services company, is pleased to announce the integration of its Equipment & Automation and Forming Systems Divisions into a single, unified division. Effective immediately, the new Afinitas Equipment & Automation Division will provide comprehensive solutions, including equipment, automation, and drycast and wetcast forming systems for pipe and precast concrete producers. Afinitas will continue to offer accessory products through its Concrete Accessories Division.
“This integration allows us to combine our engineering and manufacturing strengths to enhance product quality, efficiency, and innovation,” said Jason Duncan, Afinitas CEO. “More importantly, it simplifies how customers work with us—fewer points of contact, faster response times, and a more seamless experience.”
All Afinitas manufacturing facilities and teams will continue to operate in their current locations around the world, aligned under shared best practices and a unified commitment to product excellence. This global consistency ensures that customers will continue to receive the same high-quality products and service they expect, with the added benefit of streamlined collaboration across our teams.
To support this transition, Afinitas is also announcing key leadership changes designed to enhance operational excellence and customer service.
Effective immediately, Ed Sexe, who was Executive Vice-President in our Concrete Accessories Division, will take on the role of President of our new Equipment & Automation Division. Sexe brings more than 25 years of leadership in engineering, operations, and sales within the precast concrete and stormwater management industries. His expertise in scaling businesses, integrating acquisitions, and delivering DOT- and ASTM-compliant products has driven growth and innovation across the Afinitas portfolio. As Executive Vice President, Sexe championed lean processes, team development, and strategic integration—most notably with our Haala Industries brand—positioning Afinitas to deliver faster, more integrated solutions.
In addition, Daniel Bühler, who was previously Global President of Equipment & Automation, has been appointed Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at Afinitas, leading the unified global sales team. With more than 20 years of international infrastructure experience, Bühler brings a proven record of commercial leadership and customer-focused strategy. Since joining Afinitas, he has driven global sales for Equipment & Automation, strengthened customer relationships, and advanced operational excellence. His global perspective—shaped by leadership roles in Europe and the Americas—combined with deep product knowledge positions Afinitas to deliver stronger, simpler, and more integrated solutions to our customers.
For the immediate future, current Afinitas customer contacts will remain in place. During the transition, purchase orders will remain in effect without disruption and transactions in process with Afinitas Divisions will remain unchanged ensuring that our customers and suppliers will experience no issues with ongoing projects and agreements. Any changes that are necessary in the future will be communicated well in advance to provide ample time for planning.
If you have any questions about the changes, please reach out to your current Afinitas contact.
