JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of CNC machinery
  • Troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuit boards to the component level

Manufacturing Planner (Mediapolis, Iowa)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze master schedule of long-range projections for completion and delivery targets of finished product; determine target date for receipt of materials required.
  • Utilize system to project requirements planning; analyze stock, units on order, future requirements, and other production related data; make recommendations for project requirements.  Responsible for maintaining just-in-time inventory.
  • Proactively work with buyers to improve quality and processes as well as reduce shortages, delays, etc.

  • Assist in the coordinate and planning of material requirements for products, including review of BOM’s for production.
  • Maintain and revise BOM’s as needed for entry in the ERP system.
  • Assist in the resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies.

Job Summary

Afinitas brand BFS based in Blaubeuren, Germany, is seeking a Service Technician for its manufacturing facility near Ulm, Germany. This position would assist the assembly and commissioning of high-quality and sophisticated machinery technology for the manufacture of concrete products.

Job Duties

  • In this function, you are responsible for the assembly and commissioning of our systems and machines for the production of precast concrete parts for our customers (50% travel worldwide).
  • You take care of the smooth mechanical and electrical construction of the systems and coordinate the construction team. As a contact person on site, you will instruct the customer staff in our systems and machines and ensure smooth operation.

Die Afinitas GmbH mit Sitz in Blaubeuren bei Ulm ist ein Technologieführer in der Herstellung von Maschinen und Anlagen für die Betonteilefertigung. Ihre Aufgaben

  • In dieser Funktion sind Sie für die Montage und Inbetriebnahme unserer Anlagen und Maschinen zur Herstellung von Betonfertigteilen bei unseren Kunden verantwortlich (50 % Reisetätigkeit weltweit).
  • Sie kümmern sich um einen reibungslosen mechanischen und elektrischen Aufbau der Anlagen und koordinieren das Baustellenteam.
  • Als Ansprechpartner vor Ort weisen Sie die Kundenmitarbeiter in unsere Anlagen und Maschinen ein und stellen einen reibungslosen Betrieb sicher.
  • Sie begleiten die Abnahme und Werksinbetriebnahme unserer Maschinen am Standort Blaubeuren und unterstützen unser Team in der Abteilung Maschinenbau zwischen den Einsätzen.

Ihre Basis

Damit Sie für die Aufgabe gut gerüstet sind, sollten Sie eine Ausbildung als Industriemechaniker/Mechatroniker (m/w/d) oder Ähnliches absolviert haben und erste Berufserfahrung in der Inbetrieb-nahme von Anlagen oder Maschinen mitbringen. Grundsätzlich sind wir aber offen für alle qualifizierten Bewerber. Hilfreich für Ihren Start sind zudem gute Schweiß- und Hydraulikkenntnisse. Ihre Englisch-kenntnisse reichen für eine solide Konversation im beruflichen Umfeld oder können ausgebaut werden. Electrical Maintenance Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of CNC machinery
  • Troubleshooting and repair of electronic circuit boards to the component level
  • Service and repair of CNC equipment, mills, lathes, laser, and plasma cutting machines, presses, electric motors, conveying systems, pneumatic devices, electrical controls.
  • Assist in facilities management and maintenance, VBA programming
  • Assist in IT department, networking, & systems configuration and install.

Controls Engineer

Primary Responsibilities

  • Design and develop complex electrical engineering and functional controls system architecture and specifications with input from sales personnel, customers, service technicians, assembly technicians.
  • Apply ingenuity in programming, hardware/software integration and system diagnostics to support machine-based control systems.
  • Develop, prepare, and maintain comprehensive program documentation in areas related to diagnostics, information systems, data collection and communication with other peripheral equipment.

Manufacturing Planner

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze master schedule of long-range projections for completion and delivery targets of finished product; determine target date for receipt of materials required.
  • Utilize system to project requirements planning; analyze stock, units on order, future requirements, and other production related data; make recommendations for project requirements.  Responsible for maintaining just-in-time inventory.
  • Proactively work with buyers to improve quality and processes as well as reduce shortages, delays, etc.
  • Initiate purchase and shop orders to obtain material in accordance with schedule requirements; evaluate and determine alternate methods of meeting requirements with optimum cost and availability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to determine disposition of materials and expedite flow of materials as needed; work with engineering in substitution of materials as required.
  • Partner with suppliers to coordinate, expedite or change delivery schedules. Participate in cross-functional and Lean continuous improvement projects.
  • Review overdue service orders, determine cause of delay, and initiate corrective action.
  • Lead, mentor, or coach less experienced team members.
  • Identify and implement system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business process improvement.
  • Analyze and identify risks associated with the options built into the Master Production Plan, including manufacturing lead times.
  • Improve forecasting tools and procedures through application of innovative ideas and projects.
  • Assist in the coordinate and planning of material requirements for products, including review of BOM’s for production.
  • Maintain and revise BOM’s as needed for entry in the ERP system.
  • Assist in the resolution of MRP and planning discrepancies.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in Business, or 3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
