Controls Engineer
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical engineering and functional controls system architecture and specifications with input from sales personnel, customers, service technicians, assembly technicians.
- Apply ingenuity in programming, hardware/software integration and system diagnostics to support machine-based control systems.
- Develop, prepare, and maintain comprehensive program documentation in areas related to diagnostics, information systems, data collection and communication with other peripheral equipment.
- Act as a liaison to production assembly, service and system suppliers and furnish documentation and/or assist in the check-out, machine installation and startup of complex mechanical functionality and control system software.
- Interface directly with customers to identify customer expectations and specifications.
- May participate in set-up and commissioning of new facilities or upgrading of existing facilities.
- Provide guidance in the production of system operation manuals and diagnostic aids for customer and service technician use.
- May travel to customer sites to lead or support testing, commissioning and/or startup of industrial equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-year engineering degree or 2-year technical degree in a related field required
- 2 years of applicable experience with PLCs and associated components
- Proficient in Electrical systems including motors, AC drives, and control circuits

Industrial Painter

- Prep and mask items to be painted
- Operate bother overhead and jib style cranes
- Operate down draft paint booth
- Meet Afinitas quality standards
- Conduct operation of paint booth safety
- Perform required presentation maintenance in a timely manner

- Certified or ability to certify in both forklift and crane operation

Cost Accounting Lead
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Cost Accounting Lead position will be an individual contributor role that reports to the North American Controller and provides critical cost analysis and reporting to operational leaders.
Supports the North American as well as global finance team and all functions within finance. Requires a teamwork mentality, strong analytical skills and attention to detail, as well as the ability to present information in a user-friendly manner.
- ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBLITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- Five or more years working with accounting principles, specifically cost accounting, preferably in a project costing environment.
- Two years of demonstrable financial analysis and reporting experience preferred
- Manufacturing industry experience preferred
- Solid understanding of accounting principles (US GAAP)
- Experience with an integrated ERP preferred
- CPA or public accounting experience a plus
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written interpersonal/communication skills required

Job Description:
Afinitas is looking for skilled & motivated team players to join our Field Service team! This career is an incredible opportunity for those that: desire to work hands-on with machinery, enjoy troubleshooting and new challenges, and will thrive in a persistent, customer-focused, and self-directed environment.
Position Description
Responsible for supporting our customers and equipment in the field, including providing service and troubleshooting support for automated precast manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities/Complexities
- Provide first-class support in troubleshooting problems with customer equipment at customer locations.
- Take technical support phone calls from customers, including remote connection to their control system.
- Candidate must be a fast learner and familiar with industrial automation controls.
- Assist with new machine installations and upgrades of existing equipment.
- Train customer operation and maintenance personnel with emphasis on safe operation and establishing a zero-energy state during maintenance.
- Detect defective/faulty materials or equipment, report unusual conditions to supervisor immediately.
- Maintain work area in a clean, orderly, and safe fashion.
Competencies
- Ability to work from assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, machine manuals, technical procedures, and specifications.
- Basic understanding of Automation, PLCs, and associated components: Electrical systems including motors, drives, and control circuits.
- Must possess good mechanical aptitude and ability to work equipment common to industrial manufacturing environments (OH cranes, lifts, etc.)

Position Type: This is a regular, full-time position with the understanding that a regular workweek will require extended days and hours as needed to meet business needs.
Travel: Extensive travel within North America (USA, Canada, Mexico) and internationally also. Anticipated field time is 60-75% annually. Multiweek trips are routine for Field Service Technicians, although work on holidays and Sundays are limited to emergencies.
Required Education and Experience
- Engineer: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology or Controls from an accredited school is required.
- Technician: A two-year post high school diploma/certificate in electro-mechanical technology (or similar associate/technical degree) OR a high school diploma and a minimum of 7 years relevant experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, and controls systems along with a general understanding of material handling practices.
- Excellent customer relations and interpersonal relations skills including a high degree of diplomacy.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of PLCs desired.
- Basic computer skills including Word and Excel.
The approximate pay range for this position is $80,000-120,000 annually. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
Curing Customer Service Representative
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receive and process sales orders from customers and authorize them for distribution.
- Input customer orders into the system, and determine shipping locations and instructions.
- Communicate sales and order information to the warehouse team for distribution.
- Develop and maintain reference documents for curing parts and parts numbers.
- Ensure the accuracy of parts orders by engaging with customers, utilizing tools, internal knowledge, and the ERP system.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding the status of their orders.
- Create and manage kitting options in the ERP system for replacement parts, sub-assemblies, upgrades, and retrofit packages.
- Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and handle urgent matters.
- Actively promote the complete product line to our customer base as part of the sales effort.
- Handle phone calls and maintain the customer phone directory.
- Collaborate with the service team to meet their inventory and parts requirements.
- Assist customers with technical support and troubleshooting calls.
- Occasionally provide on-site support to service technicians.
- Assist in managing curing items within the ERP system.
- Manage the daily operations of the curing hotline and parts email.
- Generate reports and facilitate communication regarding curing parts revenue and turnover to the curing leader.
- Organize and maintain price lists.
- Evaluate parts movement to make recommendations for stocking.
