We are seeking an Engineering Intern for our Forming Systems Division in New Hampton, IA:

Job Duties:

  • Designs are functional, easily manufactured, and meet customer expectations.
  • Designs are completed according to schedule.
  • Designs meet Afinitas engineering standards.
  • Design analysis, drawings, and bills of material are accurate.
  • Coordinate layout and design of equipment.

Automation Technician –  (Brønderslev, Denmark)

The position is aimed at a candidate with an understanding of automation, such as an automation technologist, machinist, industrial electrician, electrician or similar, who wants a job that combines work from the office with a travel activity of between 30 and 100 days a year, depending on your wishes and how it can now be adapted to the job situation. A recent graduate with the right qualifications and attitude will also be considered.

The primary tasks will be to:

  • Service existing machinery from our office in Brønderslev. Servicing typically takes place via telephone counseling of the customer with troubleshooting of hydraulic and electrical control systems. Remote connection directly to the control of the actual machine is also often used to help the customer. We use Siemens control systems (PLC) on all our machines
  • Servicing and upgrading of machines at the customers’ factories, which are distributed all over the world
  • Configuration of spare parts before dispatch to the customer
  • The department also handles testing and running-in of machines before delivery to the customer and running-in of complete plants at the customer’s premises as well as preparation of documentation.

  • Analyze master schedule of long-range projections for completion and delivery targets of finished product; determine target date for receipt of materials required.

Du kommer til at indgå i vores danske team der arbejder med udvikling/ konstruktion og modularisering af hardware og software til PLC/PC-styringer, der anvendes til betonmaskinerne og til håndtering og test af de støbte betonvarer. Afdelingen varetager også udarbejdelse af dokumentation, samt test og indkøring af maskiner før levering til kunden og indkøring af komplette processtyrede anlæg hos kunden.

Afhængig af dine kvalifikationer og ønsker kan du også få mindre konstruktions- og test opgaver.

Manufacturing Planner

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Analyze master schedule of long-range projections for completion and delivery targets of finished product; determine target date for receipt of materials required.

Laser Machine Operator

Main Job Duties:

  • Set up and operate laser machine in accordance with established procedures and always adhering to company OSHA safety guidelines
  • Ability to operate a laser machine at an intermediate level
  • Read and interpret blueprints
  • Set up cutting head and nozzle for different materials
  • Use EPICOR system to record jobs and quantities
  • Use suction hoist and lift bridge to insert and remove material
  • Enter commands to retrieve programmed instructions
  • Adjust machine settings to complete tasks
  • Set materials on machine bed and reposition as needed to run successive pieces or to perform multiple operations

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent – must be at least 18 years of age
  • Prior forklift experience a plus
  • Able to be self-motivated, take initiative and have strong problem-solving skills
