About the book:

As is the case with many companies that have a long history of success, there is much more to be told. In this case, the story centers around Hank Schmidgall a respected, longtime leader in the precast concrete industry and founder of Hawkeye. From his humble beginnings in Hancock, Minnesota, to surviving the hardships of World War II, and then building a successful business in a small Iowa town, this is the story of a  remarkable man. For certain, Hank’s legacy is cast in concrete, and it is the result of his unwavering commitment to his faith, his family and his business, which took him around the world.
