ST. LOUIS — June 16, 2020 — Afinitas, the leading global infrastructure equipment and services company, is pleased to announce the promotions of three team members.

Jason Banwart, who is currently the Pre-Sales and Applications Engineering Leader at Afinitas company HawkeyePedershaab in Mediapolis, IA, has been promoted to Director of Technical Sales for both the Afinitas Equipment & Automation and Forming Systems Divisions. Banwart has been with the company for 10 years and has worked in a variety of design and project engineering roles. For the past three years he led the Inside Sales and Applications Engineering Team. Banwart has a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University and is licensed in the state of Iowa as a Professional Engineer. He will continue to be based out of Mediapolis.

Randy Ellingson, who is currently an Afinitas Forming Systems Sales/Quotations Specialist, has been promoted to Forming Systems Quoting Leader/Sales. Ellingson joined Afinitas company New Hampton Metal Fab in 2018. He has served in numerous positions in manufacturing and construction, including as General Manager at ABCO Manufacturing; Project Manager, Costing Manager and Cost Accountant/Estimator at Featherlite Trailers; and as an Architectural Estimator, Production Supervisor and Project Manager at Calmar Manufacturing. Ellingson also has experience in drafting, heavy equipment operation, carpentry and as a semi-tractor-trailer operator. In 2017 he earned a University of Iowa Professional Development Project Management Certificate and also has a diploma in Architectural and Construction Drafting from Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo, IA, and a diploma in Carpentry from Northeast Iowa Community College in Calmar, IA.  Ellingson will continue to be based in New Hampton, IA.

Reed Finch, who joined HawkeyePedershaab in Mediapolis in 2019 as an outside sales trainee in the Equipment and Automation Division, has been promoted to Western Region Sales Manager for the Afinitas Forming Systems Division. He graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2018 with a degree in Economics and spent time interning with the team in Mediapolis while he was in college. Finch will be based out of Denver, CO.
